Learn more about the painstaking process of recreating the Apple-1 manuals from scratch. The process involved not only identifying all typefaces used: For the reprints to be as true to the original as humanly possible, the position of each individual character had to be accurate to the fraction of a millimeter. In other words: Every single letter had to be positioned manually.
